Financial Assistance & Peer Support

About Rahma

Please note: CIDI has received an overwhelming rise in applications for Rahma since the COVID-19 crisis. Our funds are currently low. Your application may be placed on a waiting list.

Since 2018, CIDI has helped numerous women with emergency financial aid and peer support when other local resources in Rochester are just not enough. That is why we created a  program dedicated to helping single mothers in Southeast Minnesota.  It's called Rahma, meaning "mercy" in Arabic.

Any mother can apply for financial assistance through Rahma, regardless of religious or spiritual affiliation.

After you submit your application, you will need to schedule an appointment (via Zoom or other online video meeting platform) to discuss your needs and finalize your application. You can schedule an appointment on our Services page.
