6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Live on Zoom & Facebook
Winona State University-Rochester nursing students learn the importance of community involvement in their senior year. They take health promotional education out to populations that may otherwise find it difficult to access healthcare resources. Breaking the stigma surrounding drug use in Olmsted County is a key health initiative that needs to be addressed.
Please watch and learn more about how to help our loved ones who are struggling with drug addiction.
After the presentation and Narcan education, Narcan kits will be distributed curbside beginning around 6:45PM in front of the WSU-Rochester space at 4th St SE, Rochester (corner where the Limb Lab is located). Kits will be distributed by presenters and nursing students wearing gloves and face masks. Each kit contains two syringes and two vials of Narcan.
