This is a virtual event, not open to the public. Presenters will provide education on administering Naloxone (Narcan) which can be used to reverse an opioid overdose. After the presentation, Narcan kits can be picked up at the WSU - Rochester downtown location (400 4th St SE). Presenters will be curbside to distribute the kits when you pull up. Pickup time will be 7:00PM - 7:30PM.
Winona State University-Rochester nursing students learn the importance of community involvement in their senior year. They take health promotional education out to populations that may otherwise find it difficult to access healthcare resources. Breaking the stigma surrounding drug use in Olmsted County is a key health initiative that needs to be addressed.
Please come and learn more about how to help our loved ones who are struggling with drug addiction.
